Soccer Game Preview: Northwestern vs. Miami Springs

The Northwestern Bulls will square off against the Miami Springs Golden Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Northwestern fell victim to Miami and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Stingarees, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulls in their matchups with the Stingarees: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miami Springs). Their defense stepped up to hand Hialeah-Miami Lakes a 5-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Golden Hawks considering their one-goal performance the game before.

Miami Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Northwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.
