Baseball Recap: Brunswick School Starts Season with Loss at Home

Brunswick School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Luke's Storm on Tuesday. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Brunswick School got a good showing from Reid Glanville, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Brunswick School saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wim Nook, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

While Brunswick School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
