Basketball Recap: Chase Comes Up Short

Chase lost against Central Plains back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kats had to suffer through a 70-10 loss at the hands of the Oilers. The matchup marked the Kats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Chase and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Central Plains, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Chase and Victoria will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Plains will take on Ellinwood in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Oilers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
