Basketball Recap: West Point Falls Despite Big Games from Jaz Cousins and Camiyah Bean

If West Point was riding high fresh off their 35-11 takedown of Nettleton on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Green Wave took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houston Hilltoppers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Green Wave in their meetings with the Hilltoppers: they've now lost three in a row.

West Point's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Camiyah Bean, who shot 4-for-5 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards, and Jaz Cousins, who posted 13 points and six steals. Bean is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

West Point now has a losing record of 1-2.
