Brighton Charter scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to the Our Lady of the Sun Academy Angels on the road by a 73-57 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Angels: they've now lost five in a row.

Our Lady of the Sun Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joseph Gilmor, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 boards. Gilmor is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. Joseph Reiss was another key player, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds.

Brighton Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Our Lady of the Sun Academy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brighton Charter will head out to square off against Skyline - Gila River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Our Lady of the Sun Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Tohono O'Odham at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
