Baseball Recap: Spring Woods Takes a Loss

Spring Woods lost against Carnegie Vanguard last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spring Woods Tigers fell 6-3 to the Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spring Woods saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Barbosa, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Spring Woods' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Carnegie Vanguard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Carnegie Vanguard will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Galena Park at 5:00 p.m. on April 8th.
