Volleyball Recap: Irrigon Comes Up Short

Irrigon was the 2-1 winner over Ione/Arlington when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals on Saturday.

Irrigon's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Ione/Arlington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Irrigon will head out on the road to face off against Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ione/Arlington, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Elgin on the 13th.
