Volleyball Recap: Bryan Station Defenders vs. Sayre Spartans
After flying high against Madison Central last Thursday, Bryan Station came back down to earth. The Defenders fell just short of the Sayre Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Defenders in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost three in a row.
While Bryan Station ultimately came up short, they really made Sayre work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 22-25, 28-16, 17-25, 25-18, 15-13.

Bryan Station now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Sayre, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 24-5.
Bryan Station wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Frederick Douglass on the 9th. As for Sayre, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Scott County on the 9th.
