Softball Recap: Gonzales Comes Up Short

Gonzales and Devine squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Gonzales had to settle for second. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warhorses. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warhorses this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Thursday.

Gonzales is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13. As for Devine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Gonzales nor Devine have any future games scheduled.
