Basketball Recap: Mark Twain Comes Up Short

After flying high against Community last Friday, Mark Twain came back down to earth. The Mark Twain Tigers were outmatched by the Palmyra Panthers and fell 74-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-38 last Tuesday.

Mark Twain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Palmyra, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mark Twain Tigers challenge the Monroe City Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th. Palmyra will take on Quincy Notre Dame in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th at.
