Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Covington Chargers and fell 75-5. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for TaKyra Boddie, who shot 60% from the field en route to 21 points in addition to eight boards and five steals for Covington. The game was Boddie's 11th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Londyn Brown, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 11 points.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Covington, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-13.

As of now, neither Hamilton nor Covington have any future games scheduled.
