It's playoff time, and Eastbrook had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers 3-2 on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Adrianna Cogan paced Eastbrook's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cogan got some help from Sloan Brown and her 21 assists. Addie Rust controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Eastbrook now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.

Eastbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Blackford on the 18th. Alexandria-Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
