It was a good run, but Shadow Hills unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the La Quinta Blackhawks by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered since April 22, 2024.

Shadow Hills saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Meka, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Isaac Munoz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Shadow Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for La Quinta, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

While Shadow Hills had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
