Volleyball Recap: Wisner-Pilger Takes a Loss

Wisner-Pilger was the 2-0 winner over Howells-Dodge when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gators fell 2-0 to the Jaguars on Tuesday.

While Wisner-Pilger was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22.

Charli Jacobs paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up eight kills. Jacobs got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 22 assists. Jacobs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Wisner-Pilger's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Howells-Dodge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Wisner-Pilger wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Madison on the 30th. As for Howells-Dodge, they will square off against Stanton on Tuesday.
