Baseball Recap: Ralls Starts off Right with Win over Non Varsity Opponent

Ralls had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Non Varsity Opponent 16-1 on Monday. The Jackrabbits have beaten Non Varsity Opponent the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Non Varsity Opponent has come to flipping the script.

Andrew Morales was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Caden Cargile was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Coming up, Ralls will take on Floydada in a tournament on Thursday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they are taking a road trip to take on Sabine Pass at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
