Soccer Game Preview: Kimball vs. Wilmer-Hutchins

The Kimball Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Kimball is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.4 goals per game this season.

Kimball came up short against Pinkston on Saturday, falling 5-2.

An Vu and Crystal Ramirez scored both of Kimball's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, Wilmer-Hutchins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Carter.

Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Kimball took their victory against Wilmer-Hutchins in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 7-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kimball since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
