Rock Hills waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on Tuesday.

Halle Mizner paced Rock Hills' offense, picking up nine kills. Mizner got some help from Bethany Simmelink and her 19 assists. Mizner also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brynlee Manning, each putting up four.

Despite the defeat, St. John's/Tipton Catholic saw an underclassman step up: freshman Breckyn Carr had 16 assists and three digs. Carr has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 14 times she's played.

Rock Hills' victory bumped their record up to 33-1. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 24-9 record.
