There's no place like home for West Middlesex, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Reynolds Raiders 6-0 on Friday. The Big Reds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Roman Golub, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Nolan Kayser was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

West Middlesex was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Reynolds only posted a batting average of .000.

West Middlesex pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Reynolds, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Middlesex will head out to challenge Sharpsville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Reynolds, they will venture away from home to square off against Mercer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
