Volleyball Recap: Willow Smitley and Kenzie Livingston Secure Win for Frontier

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waterford, Frontier was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wood County Christian Wildcat. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Wildcat walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Frontier not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Wood County Christian between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17.

Leading Frontier to victory were Kenzie Livingston and Willow Smitley. Livingston had 17 digs, while Smitley had three digs and one block. Livingston has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Frontier's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Wood County Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Frontier will be playing in front of their home fans against Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wood County Christian, they will face off against Ohio Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
