Basketball Recap: Saxony Lutheran Comes Up Short

Saxony Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 62-44 fall against the Arcadia Valley Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 48-47 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Saxony Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Arcadia Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Saxony Lutheran and Arcadia Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Crusaders see the court they'll take on Leopold at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2026. As for Arcadia Valley, their break will end when they face Clearwater at 8:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
