Volleyball Recap: Desert Pines Jaguars vs. Eldorado Firehawks
Desert Pines was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Eldorado Firehawks. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Firehawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Desert Pines' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabriela Mihaere, who had six aces and four blocks. That's the most aces Mihaere has posted since back in October of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Desaray Davis, who had five kills, five blocks, and two aces.
