Recap: Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams vs. Weatherly
The Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams lost against Weatherly back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech took a serious blow against Weatherly, falling 75-38. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech in their matchups with Weatherly: they've now lost five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Weatherly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ian Mckeegan, who scored 20 points along with eight assists and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Corbin Wagner was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.
Columbia Montour Vo-Tech bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Weatherly, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech will take on Shenandoah Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Weatherly is on the road again on Thursday and play against Nativity BVM at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
