Volleyball Recap: Bear River Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Bear River came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Marysville Indians. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Bear River was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-7, 25-15, 25-14.

Kyle Smith paced Bear River's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smith got some help from Ethan Tucker and his 32 assists. Justyce Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bear River pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Marysville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bear River will venture away from home to face off against Center at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marysville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Wheatland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
