Football Recap: Jupiter Extends Winning Streak to Five

Jupiter hadn't done well against Palm Beach Central recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors walked away with a 27-20 win over the Broncos. The Warriors' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jupiter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Embick, who threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns. Those 203 passing yards gave Embick a new career-high. Jayden Roberts helped Embick out on the ground, rushing for 66 yards and one score, while also catching one TD.

Jupiter didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rhys Hall and Caden Kimbrell.

Despite the loss, Palm Beach Central had strong showings from Antoine Perry, who picked up 145 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Chance Routson, who threw for 253 yards and a pair of TDs. Perry's longest reception was for an incredible 83 yards.

Jupiter's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Palm Beach Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Jupiter will look to defend their home field on Friday against Suncoast at 6:30 p.m. The Warriors will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Palm Beach Central, they will head out to challenge Palm Beach Gardens at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
