Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon Comes Up Short

Mt. Vernon lost against Pleasant Valley back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1.

Addi Allaman was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs.

Mt. Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Pleasant Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Mt. Vernon will face off against Independence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Valley, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Liberty on the 27th.
