Center Point can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 18-7 margin over the Mason Punchers. The Pirates' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.

Hannah Batcheller was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Maria Diaz, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Center Point's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Mason, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
