Softball Recap: Berwick Takes a Loss

Berwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 10-5 to the Sacred Heart Trojans.

Berwick saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Diboll, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Makinzie Macaluso, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Berwick's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Berwick will face off against Patterson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart, they will take on Iota at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Iota sitting on five straight victories and Sacred Heart on three.
