Volleyball Recap: North Johnston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Johnston managed to slip by West Craven the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

North Johnston was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made West Craven work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 27-25.

Despite the loss, North Johnston still got an impressive performance from Callie Lancaster, who had six kills, six digs, and three aces. Lancaster is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

North Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for West Craven, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Coincidentally, North Johnston and West Craven will both be playing North Lenoir the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
