Volleyball Recap: Stacey Eagles vs. Comfort Bobcats/Deer

Stacey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comfort Bobcats/Deer. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats/Deer apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Comfort to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Judkins, who had five kills, five digs, and four aces. Judkins is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tindall Ahrens, who had seven kills and five digs.

Stacey's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Comfort, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Stacey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Karnes City on the 14th. As for Comfort, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Bandera on the 14th.
