Soccer Recap: Warwick Takes a Loss

Warwick's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Kecoughtan Warriors by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Kecoughtan this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

Abdul Mokhtar wasn't going to let Kecoughtan walk away unscathed as he scored both of Warwick's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.

Warwick now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Kecoughtan, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warwick will challenge Smithfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kecoughtan, they will square off against Phoebus at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
