Softball Game Preview: Parowan Rams vs. Millard Eagles

The Parowan Rams will head out on the road to take on the Millard Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Parowan has given up an average of 17.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Parowan came up short against Millard on Wednesday, falling 20-11. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Millard's part, Brooklin Reid and Savannah Turner did most of the damage at the plate: Reid scored four runs while going 5-for-6, while Turner scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-5. Those four runs gave Reid a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynlee Deem, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of her five plate appearances.

Millard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Millard is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.3 runs. Parowan's loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
