Softball Recap: Reno's Losing Streak Snapped at 14 Games

Reno had to endure a 14-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Neither they nor the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 6-6 tie.

Maggie Klaich spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
