Wilmer-Hutchins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lincoln Tigers, falling 28-18. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Wilmer-Hutchins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 9-4-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wilmer-Hutchins will face off against rival Conrad at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to take on their familiar foe Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
