Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Fellowship Christian Paladins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16.

Fellowship Christian was led to victory by Makenna Mosier and Ella Hasner. Mosier had ten assists and eight digs, while Hasner had 14 digs and two assists. Those eight digs gave Mosier a new career-high.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Fellowship Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 25-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, St. Francis and Fellowship Christian will both be playing Atlanta Classical Academy the next time they take the court. The Paladins will head out to face the Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
