 The Deep Run Wildcats won the last time they faced the Thomas Jefferson Vikings, and things went their way  on Friday too. Deep Run strolled past Thomas Jefferson with  points to spare, taking the game  53-38.
 Deep Run got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Quentin Morgan out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 11  rebounds. Morgan is on a roll when it comes to  blocks, as he's  now  posted two or more in the last nine games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kemji Onyiuke, who  scored eight points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Deep Run's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Thomas Jefferson, they are  on a five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deep Run will  square off against Glen Allen at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Hermitage at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hermitage presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Thomas Jefferson in Virginia (Hermitage is ranked 42nd, while Thomas Jefferson is ranked 264th).
