Volleyball Game Preview: St. Thomas More Cavaliers vs. Miller Rustlers

St. Thomas More is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Hot Springs.

St. Thomas More's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hot Springs to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Miller made easy work of Chamberlain on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-19.

St. Thomas More better keep an eye on Emma Pugh. She was instrumental in Miller's win, getting ten digs and nine aces. Those nine aces gave Pugh a new career-high.

Miller was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in four consecutive contests.

St. Thomas More's record is now 28-9. As for Miller, their record now sits at 23-7.
