Volleyball Recap: Argonaut Takes a Loss

Argonaut saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Oakmont Vikings by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alayna Critchfield paced Argonaut's offense, picking up eight kills. Critchfield got some help from Mia Maggi and her 15 assists. Kamea Monioz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Argonaut's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Oakmont, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Argonaut has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against San Francisco Waldorf on the 20th. As for Oakmont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Durham on the 20th.
