Baseball Recap: Crittenden County Takes a Loss

If Crittenden County was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Fort Campbell on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets came up short against the Caldwell County Tigers on Saturday, falling 15-4. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Chase Conyer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI. Hudson Stokes was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Crittenden County's loss dropped their record down to 10-17-1. As for Caldwell County, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Crittenden County nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
