Flag Football Recap: Thunderbird Comes Up Short

The Thunderbird Titans were just a hair shy of victory on Thursday and fell 14-13 to the Westview Knights. The Titans gained 81 more yards on the day, but it was the Knights that made the best use of them.

Although Thunderbird took the loss, they still got scores from Madisyn Fosu and Lanaya Robinson.

Thunderbird dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Westview, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Thunderbird will face off against Shadow Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Titans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Westview, they will challenge Combs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
