Basketball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

Union City came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 78-36 loss at the hands of the Lumen Christi Catholic Titans. The match marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Union City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. Lumen Christi Catholic's win bumped their record up to 19-4.

Coming up, Union City will take on Homer in a tournament on Monday. Lumen Christi Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
