Football Recap: Leto Find Success

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leto). In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 14-13 win over the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 12-0 victory the Baby Rattlers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The critical scores for Leto came from Sanaai Taylor and Naveah Frasier.

Leto's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. The heavy lifting was done by Adelesa Curri and Kaylanny Jimenez, who racked up all four sacks between them. Curri is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Taylor got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Leto's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for FAMU DRS, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Leto didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-0 loss against Wakulla on the 8th. As for FAMU DRS, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 20-8 defeat against Crestview on the 8th.
