Soccer Game Preview: Georgetown Prep vs. St. Albans

The Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas will challenge the St. Albans Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Georgetown Prep's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Friday, Georgetown Prep and Bullis finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five matchups, St. Albans finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Landon. St. Albans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Georgetown Prep's draw makes their record 4-1-3 this season. As for St. Albans, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1-2 and their overall record down to 7-3-2.

Georgetown Prep came up short against St. Albans in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Little Hoyas avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
