Thrall took down Bastrop on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Miley Pokorny's standout effort. Pokorny wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Pokorny and Thrall will face off against Florence at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Pokorny has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 7.2 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Buffaloes have only allowed four per game this season.
