Baseball Recap: Buhl Takes a Loss

Buhl came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-3 to the Nampa Christian Trojans. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Buhl saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blayden Lowry, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Lowry has posted since back in March of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Buhl fell to 2-1. As for Nampa Christian, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buhl will square off against Fruitland at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Nampa Christian, they will face off against Wendell at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
