Football Recap: Glen Rock's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It was a proper cat-fight when Glen Rock faced off against Pompton Lakes on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 20-10. The win was just business as usual for the Panthers, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

It was another big night for Brendan Burkhardt, who threw for 126 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 66 yards on only eight carries.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Glen Rock's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jackson Fuller, Liran Or Chen, and Jack Spitaleri, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Despite the loss, Pompton Lakes still got an impressive performance from Christian Murcia, who rushed for 60 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Glen Rock's record is now 4-0. As for Pompton Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
