Laurel waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 21 straight wins... but they left with 22. They blew past the Stone Tomcats 61-20. The Golden Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Laurel's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayllis Walker, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Gracelyn Carmichael, who posted 11 points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Laurel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 32 consecutive games dating back to last season.
