North Baltimore hasn't had much luck against Upper Scioto Valley recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Rams  at 7:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Upper Scioto Valley will be up against a hot North Baltimore  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to nine. The Tigers blew past Crestline, posting  a  63-20 win. The Tigers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.
North Baltimore's win  on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Brody Walter, who rushed for 110 yards and two  scores on only eight carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and one  touchdown.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch Another player making a difference was  Zander South, who gained 151 total yards and three touchdowns.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Baltimore was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 441  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 218  rushing yards in six consecutive  matchups.
 North Baltimore's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Logan Trout,  Emmitt Heldberg,  and  Trevor Walter, who each picked up one  sack apiece. North Baltimore received some extra help from  Walter, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Upper Scioto Valley took their  game  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  46-6 victory over Hardin Northern. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 North Baltimore better keep an eye on  Ryan Roberts. He was instrumental in Upper Scioto Valley's win, rushing for 111 yards and a pair of  TDs on only eight carries. They are undefeated when  Roberts posts 80 or  more  rushing yards, but 2-4 otherwise.
 Upper Scioto Valley now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for North Baltimore, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
Friday's   contest might be decided on the ground. North Baltimore has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 249  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Upper Scioto Valley struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 166.1  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 North Baltimore suffered a grim  36-14 defeat to Upper Scioto Valley  when the teams last played  back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Tigers,  Maddox Underwood (who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only six carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
