Basketball Recap: Seth Ned's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hamilton Christian over Oakdale

Hamilton Christian suffered their closest defeat since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Oakdale Warriors by a score of 60-57. Hamilton Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hamilton Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Ned, who posted 27 points. Ned's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javon Vital, who dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 13 boards, and ten assists.

Hamilton Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Oakdale, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Hamilton Christian has already played their next game, a 51-49 win against Lafayette Christian Academy on the 16th. As for Oakdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-50 loss against Avoyelles on the 17th.
