Basketball Recap: Christian Community Beats Oak Ridge Christian Academy for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Christian Community won against South Haven Christian last Monday with 41 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Christian Community Colts came out on top against the Oak Ridge Christian Academy Warriors by a score of 41-29. Winning may never get old, but the Colts sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Christian Community's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but M.J. Dodd led the charge by putting up nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Dodd is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of B.J. Head, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 13 points.

Christian Community's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Oak Ridge Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Christian Community and Clarksville will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Ridge Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
