Softball Game Preview: Lima Senior Spartans vs. Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers

The Lima Senior Spartans will challenge the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Lima Senior will be strutting in after a win while Waynesfield-Goshen will be coming in after a loss.

Lima Senior is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Kalida with a sharp 18-3 victory on Monday.

Meanwhile, Waynesfield-Goshen didn't have quite enough to beat Riverdale on Friday and fell 8-7.

Rayne Oakes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Liberty Glaser, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Lima Senior's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
